Jones VS Gustafsson is a championship rematch. Jones and Gustafsson fought 5 years ago, with Jones squeaking by with the victory. Many believe that Gustafsson won their first fight. Regardless of the outcome, it is hard to deny that their first meeting was Jon’s toughest fight. 

Both fighters believe they won their first matchup, which adds to the anticipation of the rematch. But just days before their match at UFC 232 it was revealed that Jones had tested positive again for a banned substance. Despite the positive test Jones was licensed to fight, under the ruling that he had not re-ingested the banned substance.

My prediction is that Alexander Gustafsson will come away with the victory. The recent drama places more pressure on Jones than Gustafsson. I feel their skills match up comparably once again. But the turmoil of a positive test, added testing, and vitriol of the fans towareds Jones, may give Gustafsson a mental edge.
